In an ideal world, we would all have ideal job’s. This means that we would all do something that we absolutely loved doing and we would be all smiles and end of story. This rarely happens though and if it does sometimes is not appreciated and we tend to want more. Why this introduction? Well do not get me wrong i really like my job although is completely and utterly irrelevant to my studies but life takes mysterious turns and you just have to embrace them no? My point is that since i found out about The Mast Brothers Chocolate Factory via the selby, the first thing that came to my mind was that if i ever was to make chocolate, and be a contemporary Willy Wonka, or something with food then my idea of workspace-”factory” would be like theirs. Cool, relaxed, traditional, and warm. These guys look completely nuts but they sure made this place with taste and care. I m also pretty sure that their chocolate tastes as good…

I couldn’t choose which photos to include so i overdid it! there are more in the selby site as well as a mini interview of the Mast Brothers.
(all photos via the selby)

I am one of those lucky people, my job is relevant to my studies and what I do is what I wanted to do since I was a teen. But more often than not it feels so dull and boring.. Bet it has something to do with the environment… Anyway, I love the photos. The map and the stone walls and the packaging! These people have μερακι, don’t they?

@the1015lab: you are lucky indeed and thats really good to hear!
its funny cause the word that i was looking to describe their work is μεράκι! but unfortunately the closest that i can translate it in english is taste! bummer!
